                           TOKYO

Tokyo is the greatest feast on the Earth. A cultural wonder in itself. Tokyo is Japan's Capital and is widely known for being the most populous metropolitan city in the entire world, with more than 9 million inhabitants. None of the cities can compare to the depth and explosions of deliciousness proffered by Tokyo's culinary legions. 

Tokyo is 47 percent of Japan, forming part of the Kanto region in the southeastern region of Japan's main island, Honshu. Located in heart of the nation, Tokyo is idyllically situated roughly 80 miles from Mt. Fuji, one of the most iconic volcanoes in the world. 

CUISINE:-

As Japan's political centre for over four centuries, Tokyo has naturally exerted great influence on Japanese cuisine. Local creation from Tokyo are often referred as "Edo-mae" in reference to Edo bay(now Tokyo bay) which provided city with local seafood.

Culture:-

Akiba, short of Akihabara, is home to otaku(manga and anime) culture and legions of loyal anime fans. 

Tokyo is known for its historic shrines and temples, and performing art such as Noh, Kabuki and Rakugo, which have been enjoyed for many centuries. The large number of festivals, rituals, observances and celebrations in tokyo are also all part of Japanese culture.
 

Although the Japanese may seem aloof and shy by western standards, the real reason for their behaviour is that they are brought up to think of themselves as a separate group. Anything non-Japanese is thus not readily accepted. To a westerner this may seem odd, but Japanese culture is different and unique and has its own ways.
